STAR WARS AND SUPER -SANTA
The sleigh departs its
Christmas run to make,
The reindeer keen, the
helpers full of verve,
The presents tied secure
upon the sled,
And all the Elves are eager
now to serve.
From deepest darkness
suddenly appears,
A sight to heighten all our
hidden dreads,
Imperial Forces, dragon-like in form,
With fiery tongues and hideous scaly
heads.
They spook
the reindeer from
their vital path,
Who panic
as they flee from such a sight,
Presents, parcels, gifts all tumble loose,
And fly through space and twilight of the
night.
Imperial monsters shriek their evil screams,
Delighted at the mayhem they have cost,
No children will tomorrow
now awake,
And find
the presents, which for are sadly lost.
But just when all disastrously seemed astray.
Santa tossed his red-suit to the land,
Revealing super-hero suit
of black and gold,
With helmet, gloves, and
power-sword in hand.
"Enough" he roars
and fast as speeding light,
He flies through space
retrieving all the toys,
And taking leading
reindeers by the bit,
In soothing voice intones
"Now, steady boys."
He guides his convoy back
along the track,
The auto-pilot now will
take control,
The children will be sure to get
their gifts,
Large and small for every
favoured soul.
But
then the wing-ed monsters growl in rage,
They'll not be thwarted from their evil joy,
Fierce flames are gushing
forth from fork-ed tongues,
They swoop on Super-Santa, to destroy.
But Super-Santa twists
around so fast,
To shackle all the monsters is his plan,
He swift secures the beasts in a sticky web,
For Super Santa's really 'GLU-YU Man'!
'The Force' its message sends with renewed hope,
'Imperial Powers' and their aims are mocked,
With GLU-YU Man now fighting at their side,
Forever now will Christmas wrongs be blocked!
